Haiti: Salesians respond to devastating earthquake
On August 14, 2021, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck western Haiti—stronger than the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that devastated the country in 2010! More than 2,200 people are dead with thousands more injured and left homeless. Homes and businesses have collapsed and infrastructure needs to be rebuilt.
Salesian missionaries on the ground responded immediately during the aftermath and are now working with the local population to provide relief to the victims. Please help us help them today. With your generosity, we can continue to help rebuild lives … and hope.
Thank you in advance for whatever you can give!
