Vulnerable children in desperate need

Freetown, Sierra Leone is one of the poorest cities in one of the poorest countries on Earth. And officials there simply don’t have the resources to care for all the children who’ve been abandoned, orphaned or abused. As a result, thousands of youth face life completely alone and many of them end up on the streets.

Don Bosco Fambul, run by our Salesian missionaries, provides these children with safe shelter, warm meals, access to social workers, and more so they can reclaim their childhoods and their dignity.
