Develop a Sustainable Agricultural Training Center

The Salesians at this extremely impoverished missionary site seek to purchase land near the Don Bosco Children Home to establish a vegetable and livestock farm, which will be used as an agricultural training center and food source for the community. The program will transform the lives of street children by providing shelter, education and agricultural training to help break the cycle of poverty and provide opportunities for financial independence.

This project is located at the Makululu Settlement in Chiloto, Kabwe, Zambia.

The total cost to purchase approximately 25 acres of land and develop the farm = $25,000.00
