Provide Breakfast and Lunch for Poor Children

Hunger has been declared a national disaster in this drought-ridden country. Our Salesian missionaries at the Don Bosco Youth Center want to provide 200 impoverished children with two meals a day to keep them in school and away from the dangerous streets. Additionally, we want to train adults in food security so they can store food for the future.

This on-going program can be funded for one month or multiple months.

To purchase food and supplies (rice, beans, pasta, dry fish, cooking oil, etc.):

1. For 1 month = $5,404.00
2. For 2 months = $10,808.00
3. For 3 months = $16,212.00
4. For 6 months = $32,424.00
   (An extraordinary gift of funding for 6 months will feed the children throughout the dry season, until the rains begin and growing food becomes more viable again.)

This on-going project is located at the Don Bosco Youth Center in Rundu, Namibia.
