The Salesians established Snehalaya Children’s Home which rescues poor and abandoned boys, and provides them with a safe, loving home. In addition they provide medical attention, nutrition, education and counseling to help them grow into responsible, independent citizens. This project seeks funds to maintain the home and continue its programs.
This project is located at the Snehalaya Children’s Home in Guwahati, Assam, India.
Total cost to provide housing, food, schooling, counseling and medical care for 30 boys for one year = $21,952.00
