This project is to construct a chapel for resident students at the Amalarakkini School for the Blind. Currently, the students and teachers need to be transported by hired vans to weekly Mass, which is very costly. Religious services at the school will help in the spiritual formation of the students and staff. The new chapel will also serve the surrounding community.
This project is located at the Amalarakkini School for the Blind in Susainagar, Tamil Nadu, India.
The total cost to construct and furnish the chapel = $26,000.00
