Construct Secondary School Classrooms – #470
For decades, Madagascar has struggled with limited economic growth and widespread poverty. Since 1982, the Salesians have been a vital presence in the country, offering education and pastoral care as pathways to a better future. In the rural community of Milenaka, a Salesian primary school currently serves 400 students — but the absence of a secondary school means many are unable to continue their education. The construction of new classrooms would bridge this gap, ensuring students can pursue higher levels of learning and greater opportunities.
Please note – even partial funding would be a Godsend for these students.
The total cost to construct a one-floor building with eight classrooms in Milenaka, equipped with desks and blackboards = $43,000.00
