Provide a Sustainable Source of Clean Water
This educational institution serves poor youth and young adults, many from local tribes. A sustainable source of clean water will enable students and staff to fight water-borne diseases; endure the dry season; cultivate the land for food; and provide employment opportunities for the community.
There are numerous ways to contribute to the funding of this project:
a. Drill a borehole and test water capacity = $21,090.00
b. Build a water tower and install a 5,300 gallon tank = $16,661.00
c. Supply and install a water purifying system = $1,822.00
This project is located at the Don Bosco Kilimanjaro International Institute for Telecommunications, Electronics and Computers (KIITEC) in Arusha Region, Tanzania.
The total cost to drill a borehole, install tank and water purifying system = $39,573.00
