Project Progress:
Due to geographic conditions, there is very little potable water in this region. The people of these communities are forced to travel long distances to access clean water for their daily needs, or rely on rain and river water. Five new boreholes will provide clean water, reduce outbreaks of water-borne diseases, and eliminate the need for traveling hours each day in search of water. Over 20,000 poor children and families will benefit from this life-saving project.
1. Total construction of all FIVE boreholes = $47,746.50
2. Monitoring and technical assistance at all five locations = $4,450.30
This project has five locations in Ondo, Akwa Ibom, and Imo States in Nigeria.
The total cost of the entire project = $52,196.80
