Provide Scholarships for Vulnerable Children in Ecuador
The Salesian Sisters are attempting to fund scholarships to benefit 90 poor, vulnerable children and adolescents at two Salesian schools. By keeping the students in these educational units, the Sisters hope to ensure youth continue to receive a quality education, which will provide hope for brighter futures and opportunities for a better life.
The Sisters expect to raise funds from several other sources and need this amount from our generous donors to complete the total funding for this project.
This project is located at the Maria Auxiliadora Educational Unit (EU) in Quito, and the Sor Teresa Valesé EU in Cuena, both in Ecuador.
The total amount needed to complete funding for scholarships for 90 children, ages 5 to 18, from impoverished households = $26,983.50
