Replace an Old Vehicle that Serves 60 Villages
Salesian missionaries have been helping Indigenous children and families in this extremely poor, remote area for over 70 years. They are in need of a replacement for the 4-wheel drive vehicle that has fallen into disrepair, which they frequently use to travel from village to village. A new vehicle will enable our missionaries to continue providing food, clean water and other essential supplies, especially now during the pandemic crisis.
This project is located at the Retreat Don Bosco in Yercaud; Tamil Nadu, India.
The total to purchase a new 4-wheel drive vehicle to continue serving poor villages = $10,000
