Support a Home for Children in Need of Care and Protection

This Salesian-run home is for street children and has recently been ear-marked to be a shelter for children who have been orphaned or homeless due to the Covid-19 global pandemic. The Salesians seek funding to maintain the home so they can continue to provide safe shelter, daily meals, medical aid, and counseling. Funds are also needed to repair the plumbing and update the electrical system in the facility, as well as compensate staff who cook, clean and drive two vehicles to transport the children.

This project is located at the Ekalavya Children’s Home in Ravulapalem, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The total cost to provide staffing, tuition, counseling, food and medical expenses, transport vehicles and to maintain and repair the home = $19,426.44
