Changes in the mining industry in this area have led to unemployment and the deterioration of educational and recreational facilities and a large number of drop outs. Expansion of the local Salesian technical school to add science classrooms, labs and restrooms will enable the Salesians to offer quality technical secondary vocational education. This will increase the number of skilled young people, especially women, entering the workforce.   This project is located at the Don Bosco Technical Secondary School in Chingola, Zambia. The total cost to construct additional classrooms and facilities to teach specialized vocational skills = $73,647.45
