Help Complete Church Construction
As the size of the community has increased and the number of parishioners grown, the Salesians have had to embark on a multi-phase project to expand their church. Phase 1 has been completed. Now they are in URGENT need of funds to complete Phase 2 – the concrete structural work to protect against torrential rains and destructive mudslides, of which the sub-structure is at risk.
If their prayers to complete Phase 2 are answered, they can move on to Phase 3 – the construction to complete the church, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
This project is located at St. Augustine’s Parish in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The total cost for Phase 2: materials and labor to complete concrete and block work of the inside and outside structure = $7,500.00 and the total cost for Phase 3: final construction to complete the church expansion, including electrical, plumbing, laying floors, hanging walls, and painting = $50,000.00
Funding still needed for Phase 3: $36,712.57
