Repair and Expand a Chapel for a Growing Community
A small chapel in this Salesian village is in dire need of repair. The grass thatched roof was replaced with corrugated asbestos sheets which are rotting from many years of use. Aside from being hazardous, the structure is too small for the growing Catholic community. Immediate action is necessary to make it safe, and provide a suitable and inviting place to worship. The local community is ready to lend a hand in the construction and perform all unskilled labor jobs.
This project is located at the St. Mary’s Parish in Nambe Village, Kabwe, Zambia.
The total cost for materials and skilled labor to repair, renovate and expand the chapel = $18,000.00
