Create Safe Recreation Area for Children and Families

Rehabilitate and create a community “green space.” Situated within the historic grounds of a Salesian Monastery, this area will be a family-friendly gathering place for children to play and socialize. The project plans include installing a protective gate, adequate lighting, video cameras and on-site security guards to keep the children safe.   This project is located at the Cremisan Monastery in Israel, on the border between Jerusalem and the West Bank. The total cost to upgrade the grounds and install a security system and hire security = $52,458.00
